Straight Talk - No More Contract Cell Phone Plans for Me

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Straight Talk. All opinions are 100% mine.
My current cell phone plan is way too expensive for what I get, so I’ll be switching as soon as my contract is up.  I don’t use texting and have no need for web browsing or any of the other bells and whistles, I just want to have a phone available for use when I’m away from the house.  I’ve already downgraded as much as I could, but I’m still paying more than what the service is worth.  I went home to NH last month and didn’t realize I no longer had free nationwide service and even though I only made a few short calls, my bill this month was more than $30 more than I’m used to due to roaming charges.
After talking with friends online and doing some of my own comparisons, I think a no-contract plan is best for me.  This mom knows best as she shares how Straight Talk’s $30 plan includes 1,000 minutes, 1000 texts and 30MB of data every month.  I haven’t found another plan to beat it and it’s more than enough for my needs.   Straight Talk’s unlimited plan includes talk, text, and web browsing as well as voice guided navigation with the Nokia e71 smart phone – everything you need – for just $45 per month. That’s less than what I’m paying  for my current plan, which includes voice alone with limited minutes and no other options or apps.
I don’t make international calls, but Straight Talk also has a plan for international long distance starting as low as $5 per month.  You can call a friend halfway around the world for just pennies!

No activation or termination fees ... more features ... less money.  This is a no-brainer, so no more contract cell phone plans for me.  One set price every month and no surprise bills like I received after my trip to New England.  I’ll be signing up with Straight Talk come October.
