Over $300 in Coupons for My First Giveaway

The contest is closed and the winner has been notified.
Congratulations to fellow freelance writer Tamara McRill!

I asked my readers how they'd like me to run a coupon giveaway and there was little response.  After spending hours cutting and sorting coupons yesterday, I decided to group those expiring soon and offer them as my first giveaway so they wouldn't go to waste.

This envelope contains a batch of coupons totaling well over $300 in savings in all categories.  Most expire at the end of August with some expiring the first week or so in September.  I will put it in the mail on Monday, August 22 so the winner should received it on Wednesday, August 24, or the 25th at the latest.

Over $300 in coupons being given away

Earn one entry into the giveaway for completing each of the following tasks and make sure to leave a comment for each task completed. #1 is mandatory.

1 - Leave a comment telling me your favorite thing about couponing (Required for any other entries to count)
2 - Follow this blog through GFC (or comment that you're already following)
3 - Follow this blog through Networked Blogs (or comment that you're already following)
4 - Subscribe to this blog via email (or comment that you're already subscribed)

5 - Follow me on Twitter (right sidebar) and make a tweet about this contest (put your Twitter name in your comment and mention @ThriftyLdy in your tweet)
6 - Share on Facebook, tagging Marie Anne St. Jean in the post

Note: Please leave your email address in at least one of your comments so that I can contact you if you’re the winner. Once notified, winner must be willing to provide me with a valid mailing address so that I can mail the coupons.

Contest will end at 9:00 pm Saturday, August 20 so that I have time to make contact with the winner and can mail the coupons on Monday. Winning entry will be selected by a random number generator.

My favorite thing about couponing is getting a lot more bang my buck! I can't remember the last time I bought something without a coupon... Paying full price for something is just pointless to me!

I love it when a coupon coincides with a great sale and the item is free!

I love coupons to just save on daily things we need here @ our home. Now, there is supposed to be an ongoing coupon help for our military that if the coupons aren't past 6 mo. old, they will honor them for the military. I have to check to see if the Commissary on Lejeune is honoring this. It was in a news article in the Wilmington News a few days ago.

My favorite thing about couponing is spreading my money as far as possible. We budget every dollar that comes in, and coupons allow my family to get what we need and not have to worry about money as much.

Marie Anne, I am already following you on Twitter and liked your Facebook page. I shared this on my wall too.

(The sign in thing is not working again.)

My favorite thing about couponing is getting things for free! It doesn't happen all that often, but I just love it when it happens. ;-)

(Thanks Marie Anne, lol, it not only won't let me sign in, it cut off the bottom part of the post.)

My favorite part of couponing is saving money and getting some items completely free just by paying attention to sales.
