Let's Play Lexulous!

If you like word games such as Scrabble, give Lexulous a try.   Lexulous is a Facebook game played the same way as traditional Scrabble that you can play with friends and family or with virtual strangers from all over the world.  I prefer a two-player game, but you can play with a group if you'd  like.

Playing Lexulous doesn't have to take a chunk of time out of your day or take you away from more important tasks since you don't have to finish a game in one sitting. You take your turn when you want and play again after your opponent has played their word; there is no time limit to the game.  Some players like a fast game, while others play here and there when they get a few minutes of Facebook time so it might take a few days to finish the game.  There's room for the fast or slow player, and all in between.

I usually have a few games going at a time, and if I need a break from working on another project and it's not my turn on any of my games, I'll get in on a new game by either going to a table already being hosted, or start a game and wait for someone to join me.

I'm always up for a game with new friends, so look me up on Facebook and let me know when you're up for a game of Lexulous.  I'll even let you make the first play.

I'm taking the A-Z Blogging Challenge, where I will post something from each letter of the alphabet on the corresponding day in April, except for Sunday, on (hopefully) all four of my blogs. You can see my other blogs in the sidebar - More From Marie Anne.

Sounds like a fun game, especially for writers, but I have Sudoku on my phone, so when I get the urge to play a game, I usually head to my phone.

I love the game. I grew up playing Scrabble with my mother who also enjoyed word games, so Lexulous is a natural! In fact, I think it may be my turn on our games, right?

I don't trust myself with facebook games. :) I don't play them because I would probably spend all day on facebook if I did. This one is tempting though! :)

Oh thanks, I think. I've never played Lexulous but I love Scrabble. I'll have to give it a try and hope it's not too addicting.

I would be addicted to this game for sure if I tried it out. ;) I will keep it in mind, though.

I'll have to give this one a try. I'm currently avoiding all of the fb games, but I'm sure that when my schedule eases up, I'll be back at them again.

My “L” post is right here: http://www.word-nerd-speaks.com/2011/04/long-long-list.html
