Goodness, I didn't even know these photos existed until my siblings and I went through some of Mom's photos after she passed in June.

This photo was taken on a very happy day in early 1984. I was pregnant with #2 son while stationed at South Weymouth, Massachusetts and my family had thrown a surprise baby shower for me back home in Manchester, NH. That's Mom to the right of me, and baby Paul in my belly.

Im with you the 70s and 80s held great memories for me as well
I had a hard time, #1 figuring out who was your mom and who you were in the first picture - You both look so young. #2 Seeing where you were carrying your baby in the second picture - I looked like a beached whale and you look thinner than I normally look on a good day!

I am so jealous of the bell bottoms! My mom said hers were so long, she didn't have to wear shoes!
