Walgreens Low Dose Safety Coated Aspirin

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have very high cholesterol and can’t take statins, so my doctor has recommended that I take one low-dose aspirin every day to help ward off clotting that could lead to heart attack or stroke.  I have a sensitive tummy and also can’t take NSAIDS or regular aspirin, so I opt for the coated aspirin so as not to irritate my stomach.

I compared Walgreens Safety Coated Aspirin in the adult low strength of 81mg and it was much less expensive than the national brand.  I paid less than $1.50 for 36 coated tablets, which is a great price for more than a month’s supply.

I’ve taken several of the Walgreens Brand so far and have not had any stomach trouble, so I’ll definitely be buying more on my next trip to town.  I’ll probably get a larger bottle next time and keep the small bottle in my purse to have on hand when traveling.

Not only did I get a great bargain, but my purchase supported my local community!  Walgreens is contributing up to $3 million annually to the Walgreens Way to Well Fund™ with proceeds from the purchase of any Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products.

Great product, great price and helping others with my purchase.  What’s not to love?

I practically live at Walgreens. It's where I get all my prescriptions.
