I love the word Eureka. When I see the printed word, I say it in my mind with a huge Exclamation point at the end. Eureka deserves an Exclamation point, don't you think?
Merriam-Webster online says Eureka is - used to express triumph on discovery. I think that sums it up nicely. Marie Anne's version is more like - Eureka! Hey everyone, come see this most Excellent thing I've found!
I had one of those little Eureka moments just this morning. While running errands, I stopped at my local thrift store and saw this pretty little cream pitcher on the shelf. At $1.99 it was already a bargain, but it had a pink tag which meant 50% off. I was able to bring this sweet little find home with me for only a dollar.
Have you had any Eureka! moments in your life? I've had others, but was really tickled at the timing on this one, just as I'm planning to display my pretty blue dishes. Eureka indeed!

But here's what made it worthy of Eureka!, complete with Exclamation point.
Remember yesterday, I posted about these dishes on D-day?
Now look at the dishes with the pitcher.
It's not a perfect match, but you couldn't tell without inspecting closely. And I won't.

As soon as I saw your find, I remembered your post from yesterday and thought they made a great match. And yes, I LOVE Eureka moments, though I have to admit I don't think I've EVER said that word out loud. I should try it. I'd probably get a lot of laughs. If you haven't yet read my blog post for "E" day, it's here: (at the top) http://myheartblogstoyou.blogspot.com/
Yes, that is absolutely Eureka worthy, with an exclamation point. Way to go!
I love that word, too!
From one bargain hunter to another, that is a great find!
